The mandate of the Department is as follows:
Maintenance of effective and efficient security services
- Effective Transport Services
- Prompt settlement of utility bills, steady power and water supply;
- Conducive office accommodation for improved staff productivity;
- Collating stores requests from all Departments
- Security of the Ministry is maintained by Police, NSDC
- Department’s duty is to sustain the security.
